Eddo is on the GO!

It has been 3 months now since Eddo rigorously started his exercise regime. He had look after his nutritional need as well. He only eats the whole grain cereal with skim milk in the morning sometimes with one banana...and in brings to school one wrap or sandwich with veggies and non-fat cold cuts or broiled skinless chicken.
He has tremendously been such an amazing inspiration for me so as not too eat too much as much. He can write a book about it...am really encouraging him. He has become prouder od himself inwardly and out.

He is self motivated and very very focus in his new lifestyle, He feels sick when he eats differently because his body and taste buds is now accustomed to a  non fat and non sweet food choices. He had lost about 32 pounds in 3 months. I think that is such great accomplishment.

Here he is now...and still losing weight and gaining muscles...I am wishing he will continue his new lifestyle as everyone  noticed and were amazed of his more handsome and fit transformation as days goes by.

Halloween night is a beautiful night. I was so glad that my kids are still interested in trick and treating our neighbors.

Ribfest walk with the BOYS

MY KID"S BIKE WAS RUINED

My ad has created a bit of a stir with a few people who emailed me about how...like me it's hard to trust people or believe with most of them anymore.

ON JULY 2IST, TUESDAY MY SON 'S BICYCLE WAS HIT BY A GREEN CAR ON THE CORNER OF VICTORIA PARK AND LAWRENCE AT ABOUT 3-4PM. MY SON WAS USING THE CROSSING WHEN THIS CAR MADE A QUICK TURN AND THAT MY SON SAW HER DRIVING IN HIS DIRECTION THAT HE PEDALLED FASTER BUT STILL GOT HIT BY AND BARELY MISS MY SON. THE BIKE HAS TO BE REPLACED AND LUCKILY MY SON WASN'T HURT YET STILL SHAKEN A BIT. HE IS 15 AND THE WOMAN GOT OUT OF THE CAR AT SHELL STATION JUST BESIDES WHERE THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED.

SHE GAVE HER NAME AS FAY AND A FALSE PHONE NUMBER. MY SON BEING 15 DOESN'T KNOW THAT HE HAS TO GET THE PLATE NUMBER OR DRIVERS LICENCE.

SHE TOLD MY SON HER DAD JUST RECENTLY DIED SO SHE MAY BE DEPRESSED( ACCORDING TO MY SON). I AM JUST SHOCKED TO KNOW SHE WOULD GIVE A FAKE PHONE NUMBER AND NEVER CALLED US BACK. IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH A WOMAN WITH THIS STORY AND A GREEN CAR...PLS CONTACT ME AND LET ME KNOW. IF YOU WITNESS THE ACCIDENT PLS EMAIL ME TOO. I JUST WANT HER TO HONOR HER DUTY AS A DECENT HUMAN TO REPLACE MY SON'S BIKE WHICH IS ONLY A COUPLE OF MONTHS OLD. I AM A SINGLE PARENT WORKING AND LIVING AT THE SAME VICINITY AND THIS BIKE SAVES HIM HIS BUS TICKET AND HE USES THIS FOR EXERCISE.

Canada day and my teens....

The Canada Day had brought me to a new level of respect with Eddo.

We went for a bike and play. Eddo made his rounds of running and I followed him on his bike. It was like so hurting my knee...and i was like....out of breath. Coming up the hill is a torture although I love it in a way that makes me see more how unfit or fit am I presently. I used to run at the same park and go up and down the perimeter where it looked like a small hill...and I don't remember having such pain that much on my knee. It's good that I am a distributor now of the products that helps me ease the pain and gave me an optimized level of using my energy.

After such a struggle to get back on our street, we went straight to the convenience store and bought as water and Zero Nestea(yuck...don't like the taste). Then we look at the restaurant besides it and checked out the menu. Well, sirloin steak,spagghetti and meat balls...mmmm...so much for the exercise. We went in and called Eddi to join us for the dinner and come by with some money as don't have cash. The PRINCE look like it needed more cleaning up and finishing. There are games that are available on ledge beside our table so we played cards,chess and dominoes. The food came in after an hour. It was plenty...tasty and the boys loved it. We are the only eating customers there but there are some 7 or so patrons nearest to the kitchen..they seems to use the bottle with hose for smoke. Interesting...whatever it is...we did not smell anything. Eddo paid our bill so I still owe him some $60.
With the onset of the city strike... the parks events were cancelled. Shops are closed and we are just thankful this restaurant and a couple of convenience store decided to open for business. It is most rewarding to be filled with activities that made me sweat specially when I share it with my boys.
This young boys are teens now...so they will leave soon and enjoying this moments is a must. These are the babies of our family and I already miss the much innocent boys they were before.
